The Metalloassay LS Series is a ready-to-use kit for high-throughput quantification of trace elements and electrolytes (iron, copper, zinc, magnesium, calcium, lithium) in biological samples such as serum, plasma, and urine using a microplate reader (96-well) or a spectrophotometer. The kit is calibrated with a buffer solution that rapidly dissociates metal elements bound to proteins or metabolites, along with a highly sensitive chelating reagent, enabling efficient quantification of multiple samples. It is species-independent and requires no sample preprocessing. Quantification can be performed using a two-point calibration with a blank and the standard samples included in the kit, eliminating the need for a multi-point calibration curve.
